Step 1- the first meeting

We meet up and chat about the style of wedding that you would like. I am happy to incorporate any of your ideas in it. We fill out a notice of intended marriage form together ( I will supply this). You proved me with 2 forms of ID. These can be Birth Certificates or Passports and drivers licenses or another form of photo ID with your current address on it such as a proof of age card. If you have been married before, you will need to provide a divorce or death certificate.

Your choose which type of ceremony that you would like. If a personalised ceremony: I will provide you with a questionnaire, then will write up a first draft of the ceremony and send it to you. You let me know what you like about it and what you would like to change and I then do a rewrite based on your feedback. If you choose a standard ceremony: I will provide you with a selection of vows and readings to choose from. I then prepare all of your legal documents and will lodge them with Births, deaths and marriages after the wedding ceremony has taken place. If you are planning on changing your name: I will give you information on how to do this.
Step 3 - the ​rehearsal.

We meet up for a rehearsal a week before (or whenever it suits you, your wedding party and the venue). We go through all of the details of your wedding day so it runs smoothly on the day and without any stress. I will also bring along another document for you to sign called the declaration.
Step 4 - on the day.

On the day, I will arrive an hour before the wedding to set up, liase with the staff at the venue, do a sound check and prepare for the ceremony. If there are any last minute issues, I am happy to jump in and help sort these out. From there on, it's simple. I conduct your wedding ceremony and then you live happily ever after.
